To All Those Who Dream Out There,
Shimmy and shake! It's happening y'all!
For those of you who may have been wondering, we've been in the process of relocating back to Dayton, Ohio. Things have been settling into place, and this week it's finally happening! And the moving process continues...
Now that we have more details planned out, we are excited to share with you about what our next step will be!
Since our return to the States, we've been in dialogue with our pastor at our home church theNorthGate in downtown Dayton. If you're ever in the area, you should come check it out! He has invited us on an exciting new adventure. We will be heading up a "wholeness center," which is set to launch this spring. It will be called 4-Dimensional Ministries (4DM for short).
We couldn't have imagined why we were coming back from Mexico at the time we did, but each day God is making that more clear. We are so excited about this next step and being able to use what we have learned over the last six months to impact our local communities. We still have a heart for what we've called "missions," but God has opened our eyes as to how we can do that right here in our own city. Allow us to share a little bit of 4DM with you.
If you're already on our mailing list, this next part will look familiar, but for those of you who haven't seen it, this is the overall picture of what 4DM will look like (if you'd like to be on our e-mail list for other updates, feel free to comment on here or send us an e-mail at nathan.reiter2@gmail.com or whitney.reiter2@gmail.com).
What is 4DM?
4DM is a six-month, four-phase program that seeks to build a
biblical basis for overcoming the past, aligning one's identity with Christ,
and equipping participants to lead a fruitful, kingdom life. Most participants
will live on-site at theNorthGate as they complete the program, being evaluated
for progress and application.
Thank you all for such a warm welcome upon our return to the States. We are grateful for the support you have shown us, even though everything hasn't gone as originally planned. It encouraged us to hear about how many of you have had similar experiences. If there's one thing we've learned, it's that we can make our own plans in as much detail as we want, but then God has something else up his sleeve. It can sometimes catch us off guard, but I guarantee it's always better!
